Travertine is a natural limestone paver that is perfect for walkways or patios, and especially for paving surrounding pools because it is not slippery, nor does it get extremely hot in full sun. Despite being porous, travertine is an extremely strong and durable stone, that is frost-resistant if properly installed. The surface of travertine is very smooth to touch but speckled with small holes and pits which gives it a very varied and interesting visual appearance.
French pattern travertine is laid in a repeating, interlocking rectangular pattern, inspired by the stone floors of European palaces. Sold in increments of 8 sf.
