This fountain grass features narrow, deep green leaves in summer—changing to golden yellow in fall and fading to beige in late fall. Showy, pale pink, bottle brush-like flower spikes arch outward from the clump in late summer like water spraying from a fountain. Foliage usually remains attractive throughout the winter. It tolerates part shade but may not flower in too much shade. A perfect addition to rock gardens, perennial beds, edging walkways and great as cut flowers.
