Primrose, meaning first rose, is considered the harbinger of spring, breaking through winter ground in late February with its vibrant color spectrum of flowers in red, yellow, orange, and white. Flowers includes bi-colored , double flowers, and lace varieties. This happy flower is a welcomed addition to the garden brightening the fickle weather pattern of late winter and early spring.
