Fuchsia is one of the best flowering annuals that can take deep shade. Its drooping tubular flowers are usually bicolor in shades of pink, purple, red and white. This long bloom plant is available in pots or hanging baskets. It can be grown as an annual or a houseplant. Angel Earrings®, Windchimes®, Ballerina®, 'Firecracker', and 'Gartenmeister' are several of the varieties available. This plant is an annual and is not considered hardy in the Delaware Valley Region.
