Barlow Tyrie dining options are crafted using a thoughtfully selected mix of premium, weather-resistant materials that ensure both longevity and visual appeal. Central to many collections is first-grade teak (Tectona Grandis), sustainably sourced from managed plantations and valued for its natural resistance to moisture, insects, and decay. For a more contemporary aesthetic, marine-grade stainless steel and powder-coated aluminum are used — both offering strength, corrosion resistance, and minimal maintenance. Many dining chairs incorporate Textilene® sling fabric, a durable, UV-resistant mesh that provides supportive comfort without the need for cushions. Select dining tables also feature ceramic or Italian high-fired porcelain inserts, prized for their modern look and resistance to heat, scratches, and staining.
