The Persian lime, often referred to as the “bearss lime,” is a larger, seedless variety known for its smooth, dark green skin and tangy, slightly sweeter flavor compared to its smaller counterparts. This tropical plant is not hardy to our area (Zone 7a) and must be brought inside during the winter. Bring your citrus tree in before temperatures drop below 40°.
